A Warm Welcome, From Management

As the managers of Beaver Lake Campground since 2020, Greg and Jenn are amazed at how fortunate they are to have found this very special campground located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Jenn has been in tourism management since 2010 starting out at the famous White Pass Scenic Railway in Skagway, Alaska. Greg has extensive training as a licensed and certified RV repair technician with his own business at GK RV Service and Repair here in Custer. Greg and Jenn have been full time living and traveling in their Montana 5th wheel since 2019 and understand what their guest expect when they arrive at Beaver Lake Campground. We have an amazing team of employees, most of them multi year returners to the campground with extensive experience on how this specific campground runs.

The Black Hills area is spectacular with so many things to do and see.  You could spend a month here and still not see it all.  The summer weather is perfect with warm but not hot days and cool summer nights due to the 5,300 foot elevation. Perfect for evening campfires.

Living and working in the Black Hills National Forest is incredible. As one of the premier campgrounds in the Black Hills, they feel very happy to share such a calm, peaceful setting with other adventure seekers who love to enjoy the beauty of Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and all that the Black Hills has to offer.
